Me: "Wow buddy, that is exciting." [forcing back tears]
P: "I know. Heaven's going to be awesome."
Me: "I'll be right back."
[cue running to the bathroom to have myself a cry]
That kind of bravery and faith seems unreachable to me sometimes. I think I came a step closer today in understanding what Jesus meant by the importance of becoming like children in our faith. Oh, the lessons that have come from the mouth of that 4-year old lil dude.

So beautifully heartbreaking. As a mom to a young boy, I cannot even imagine.
I've been reading your recent posts here, and have been blessed, especially by the lent article (which stung - in a good way) and the calendar, which I've already printed. I also am giving up sweets, for what seems to be similar reasons.
